Wedding week day 2: The Bride

all photos are copyright of Pure and Pensif Photography

i wanted everything about my dress and how i looked on our wedding day to be summery, flowy, and simple.
finding my dress was a little bit of a struggle.
I honestly had no idea how to incorporate everything that i wanted, and i kept second-guessing myself over and over again.
i found my dress at The Perfect Dress in SLC.
I had to order the same dress from a different shop in New York, and had it altered (it was originally strapless) at home in New York as well.
The flower and sash around my natural waist line was handmade by Josie Handmade of Pittsford, NY.
I found my veil and shoes in NY. I borrowed my pearl necklace and sapphire and diamond earrings from my mother.
The Dress: Pronovias
Shoes: Caparros
Flower/Sash: Josie Handmade

My brother, owner of Pure and Pensif Photography, also did my bridal portraits.
my bridals were taken at the George Eastman House in Rochester, NY, and downtown Honeoye Falls, NY.

tara! sure thing- add me to yours pleasee! and Violet, I was scared of rain too but it worked out perfectly. The tent had three sides with the fourth side able to roll down if it did indeed rain. i would completely recommend it.
