this has not been an easy week.
i don't like saying goodbye to people i love.
whether it's for a year and a half, a couple months, or a couple weeks.
today we head out to North Carolina for a week, then home to New York.
I haven't been back East in 9 months,
and so i'm turning inside with excitement.
it feels good to go home.
