Finals are almost over! I can hardly believe that I'm still alive but somehow, this eternally slow week is coming to a close and after tomorrow morning i will be a FREE woman. I know I'm not the only one in this same boat, so for all of you still slaving over finals... Good luck!
In a couple of days we're headed to Phoenix, Arizona, a place that I have actually never been.
We're going for a wedding that Christian is a groomsmen in, but we're expecting a good chunk of downtime over the weekend.
Since I've never been, do you have any suggestions of things to do, places to eat, or sites to see?
I would love your help and opinion if you're willing to give it!

I love Phoenix! My brother and his wife live there, so I've been there quite a bit. My fave place to eat down there is Oregano's. It's a pizza place and it's the BEST! It's really popular, so plan on a long wait time... but trust me it's worth it. The Scottsdale mall is a fun place to walk around (it has all the fancy stores like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, etc). Also the Tatem mall is a fun one in Scottsdale as well (it's outdoor, similar to Gateway in SLC). I also like the outlet mall up in Anthem. Can you tell I like to shop? :) The Mesa temple will be lit up with Christmas lights, so that's always fun to see, but I'm guessing you'll be going there for the wedding....

oh my gosh... if you like mexican food, you MUST go to tia rosa's in mesa. its a 30 min drive, but you can stop by the mesa temple, too! the best ever. also walk past the orange groves and take in the scents. winter in arizona is my favorite.
