This past weekend Chin and I had spent a few days up in Salt Lake.
We decided to head to the Gateway mall to do a little shopping, and stopped in some stores that they don't have in Provo.
Among those stores was Z-Gallerie, a home goods store filled to the brim with unique furnishings. I love almost anything in there, even though it's relatively wild and crazy.
Honestly, to describe it in one word? Fabulous. The store is so incredibly fabulous. Crazy colors and patterns, with white ceramic moose heads and bedazzled place mats, it's the girliest of all girly stores. And I kind of love it.
It's so different from my relatively conservative preppy taste, and everything in Z-Gallerie adds a touch of bling.
While we were there I stopped back in the clearance section to take a peek, and found some jewels that will be perfect for our Valentine's Day dinner.

Black and gold. Talk about a steamy Valentine's Day.
SO. I decided to put together my new ensemble to just test what it looks like, and I love the outcome. Now if only I could find some gold flatware that doesn't break the bank....
Sometimes I laugh at how much I love shopping for our home. I never pictured myself as that type of person, but for some reason, dishes are my weakness. I must take after my mother.

I LOVE those glasses. Seriously obsessed. I'm obsessed with dinner wear too, Its one of my first stops on the Anthropologie website.

Oooh me likes the black plates with gold trim...very classy! Do Z-Gallerie always have such brilliant clearance items? We'll be in America later this year and I definitely want to stop in and help them get rid of old stock ;)
