Last week was spent with my family down in Naples Florida.
BYU doesn't get a Spring Break, and since Chin is graduating next week, it was a really nice excuse to get away for a little bit to celebrate the semester ending.
I had debated whether or not I wanted to go. School has been brutal this semester, and it seems like our future is still uncertain, and I wondered whether it was a good time to leave.
But then I realized that in the end, as much as school is important, family is much more.
We had a great time. We spent time at the beach (I'm still sunburned), went to Naples Zoo, and spent a lot of time in the sun, shopping, and eating way too much.
Needless to say I love my family, and having all of them there was a blast!
Our house had a pool that had a netted bug cover, but wasn't waterproof. However, it didn't stop the little ones from playing around on a rainy morning.
I had so much fun being with my two youngest nephew and niece, Cameron and Ally. Cam is 6 months old, and Ally is only 4 months, and they are the two smiliest, happiest babies.
My oldest niece loved taking "model shots"
Saying a sad goodbye when my brother and his family had to go home
We spent a morning at Naples Zoo with my cousin and his family. Even though it was hot, I got my favorite frozen banana and got to feed the giraffes!
Easter Sunday ended up being the perfect end to our trip. The weather was divine, church was wonderful, and we had a great dinner filled with surf and turf before we had to leave for the airport.
